Self-love isn’t easy. It includes accepting the parts about yourself that make you uncomfortable. It’s understanding that striving for better doesn’t mean you’re not already good enough. Self-love doesn’t happen because of career advancements, romance, affirmation of others, or achieving “body goals.” It’s a choice you have to make everyday. Some days this choice is easier than others. But even on the days where you feel like a total #bossbabe ready to conquer the world, if you don’t have a strong sense of self, it makes it harder to deal with the inevitable difficulties of life that arise. Learning self-love and creating a solid self-identity may not come naturally to you now. But, with these 6 simple changes in mindset
You know what's scary? Thinking you need to spend hours in the gym to get results. Not so scary? Toning your legs and lifting your booty in less than 30-minutes from wherever the heck you want to! The days are getting shorter and schedules are getting busier (and we aren't even to the holidays yet!). This means we need to make sure to take advantage of every minute of your workout. The best way to get a quick and effective workout in is with circuit training. Circuit training burns more calories than traditional strength training. It's October, so naturally I'm due for a delicious and super nutritious pumpkin recipe. Oh yes, count me in for this #pumpkineverything time of year! Pumpkin is the obvious superstar of fall. It usually sets you up on a meal plan that SHOULD only be temporary. It asks you to includes absurd amounts of cardio or exercise in general. It sometimes includes some sort of "meal replacement," supplement, or magic pill.
If I can't currently train much of my lower half, you best believe I'm going to find something else to work on. Upper body workouts have been my bread and butter lately. I think I'm going to make shoulders the new booty ;). In light of my new exercise"split," I wanted to share one of my favorite workouts that targets your arms, chest, shoulders, back, and core. Some of these exercises are too intense for me at the moment, but that's exactly why this workout will be so effective for you! This routine does more than sculpt your upper body, it's going to get your heart rate up and burn some major calories. And, like all Life in Spandex workouts,
