If I can’t currently train much of my lower half, you best believe I’m going to find something else to work on. Upper body workouts have been my bread and butter lately. I think I’m going to make shoulders the new booty ;).
In light of my new exercise”split,” I wanted to share one of my favorite workouts that targets your arms, chest, shoulders, back, and core. Some of these exercises are too intense for me at the moment, but that’s exactly why this workout will be so effective for you!
This routine does more than sculpt your upper body, it’s going to get your heart rate up and burn some major calories. And, like all Life in Spandex workouts, it takes less than 30 minutes and can be done anywhere! Grab a set of dumbbells that challenges you on the last two to three reps of each exercise. Complete each exercise back-to-back. Rest for 60 seconds and repeat the circuit another two to three times.
